​The DAISY Award ​is an international program that rewards and celebrates ​​​​the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by bedside nurses every day.

DAISY stands for Diseases Attacking the Immune System. The award was created in memory of J. Patrick Barnes by his family as a way to say thank you to bedside nurses who provide an outstanding level of care.

Atrium Health Floyd is proud to be a DAISY Award Partner. Every quarter, Atrium Health ​Floyd will recognize one of our nurses who delivers high-quality bedside care, and provides kindness and compassion to patients and their families.​
