Floyd stands ready to continue providing quality health care to you. With new safety and screening measures in place, we a​re now scheduling appointments and procedures. If you have delayed scheduling an appointment due to COVID-19, now is the time to schedule at one of our care locations.​

​​​COVID-19 Testing

Floyd Medical Center is not a public testing site. We provide drive-thru testing for surgery patients as part of their pre-operative​ evaluation. 

​Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms should call their primary care office or the Georgia Department of Public Health hotline at 1.844.442.2681. It is important that you call ahead to your primary care office so that they can put the appropriate measures in place to prevent spread. If your symptoms are life-threatening, call 911 immediately​.  ​​Learn more about coronavirus symptoms at the CDC website.

Governor Kemp visited Floyd to tour the 20-bed modular intensive care unite provided by the Georgia Emergency Management agency. While here, he also walked through the temporary medical unit constructed in Floyd's two-story parking deck.​
