COVID-19: Stay Informed
Floyd stands ready to continue providing quality health care to you. With new safety and screening measures in place, we are now scheduling appointments and procedures. If you have delayed scheduling an appointment due to COVID-19, now is the time to schedule at one of our care locations.
Floyd Medical Center is not a public testing site. We provide drive-thru testing for surgery patients as part of their pre-operative evaluation.
Floyd Primary Care and Urgent Care offer the PCR test, rapid test and antibody test. Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms should call their primary care office, Floyd Urgent Care or the Georgia Department of Public Health hotline at 1.844.442.2681.
At this time one visitor may accompany a patient who is receiving care at most Floyd locations, including hospitals, Floyd Primary Care and Floyd Urgent Care offices and other outpatient locations.
Patients who are COVID-19 positive or suspected to have the virus cannot receive visitors.
Visitors will be screened for flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough or shortness of breath. If any of these symptoms exist, the visitor will not be allowed entrance. All patients and visitors will be given masks to wear. They will be asked to observe social distancing and practice hand-hygiene protocols.
