Atrium Health Floyd provides periodic reports that show how communities are impacted through our services and community outreach. Floyd also studies the health needs of the local population to determine how we can help create a healthier and more vibrant community.
Annual Reports
Annual Reports fulfill a requirement of Floyd Healthcare Management Inc. to publish year-end fiscal data. In addition, the reports to the community are a record of changes, growth, improvements, community benefit activities and statistics related to the Floyd health care system.

Community Benefit Reports
The annual Community Benefit Report fulfills a requirement of not-for-profit community hospitals by providing a record of the financial investment Floyd makes in the communities we serve. Examples of community benefit programs include indigent care, health screenings, medical education and the provision of other services to meet the health care needs of our community.

Community Health Needs Assessments
As a not-for-profit community hospital, Floyd is required to assess the health needs of the community every three years and to update the assessment every year. Floyd’s Community Benefit activities are determined, in part, from the health needs identified in the assessment.

Economic Impact
Combined, Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, Atrium Health Floyd Polk Medical Center and Atrium Health Floyd Cherokee Medical Center generated more than $841 million toward local and state economies in Georgia and Alabama in 2018 and 2019.
