Matt Gorman, MBA, vice president for Corporate and Network Services and vice president of Georgia Core Market Growth, leads operations for Primary Care for the combined Medical Group. He is responsible for strategic and operational leadership for Primary Care (family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and urgent/immediate care). Additionally, Mr. Gorman has leadership responsibilities for core market growth for the Georgia market, Atrium Health Floyd Rural Health and Floyd Emergency Medical Services. He has over 18 years’ experience with Atrium Health and has served in a variety of leadership roles during that time.

He is a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University and his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Berry College.
