CARTERSVILLE, Ga., Dec. 19, 2022 – Dr. Romy Bhagat is now seeing patients at Atrium Health Floyd Primary Care Family Medicine in Cartersville, 1328 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy. SE.
As a family medicine physician, he believes it's important to listen to and communicate clearly with his patients. He says that it's essential to treat the whole person and not just their symptoms.
A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, he is board certified in family medicine. He sees patients ages 10 and older at the Cartersville office.
His areas of clinical interest include treating joint issues. Dr. Bhagat loves the outdoors. He enjoys hiking, kayaking and playing basketball and volleyball. He also enjoys baking.
Dr. Bhagat is familiar with northwest Georgia. He completed his residency with Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center Family Medicine Residency.
He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica. He completed a post baccalaureate pre-medical program in health sciences from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bhagat received a Bachelor of Science in biology from Utica College of Syracuse University in Utica, New York
