​Laboratory

The laboratories at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, Atrium Health Floyd Polk Medical Center and Atrium Health Floyd Cherokee Medical Center offer a convenient option for local residents who need blood or urine tests. 

All our labs are accredited by The Joint Commission. Our professional phlebotomists provide collection and testing for inpatient, outpatient and emergency services. Our staff can also collect blood specimens to send to other labs for study. Laboratory services are available 24/7 for inpatient needs.  

Most laboratory collections do not require an appointment, but orders from a doctor are required. 

Due to test requirements, glucose tolerance tests and therapeutic phlebotomies must be scheduled in advance with the lab you wish to visit.
