The outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation program, located in the Atrium Health Floyd Primary Care Family Medicine Polk building, cares for patients with respiratory illnesses, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Floyd’s outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation program uses exercise, behavior changes and education to help build a patient’s physical fitness and help them control symptoms. The goal is to return the patient to the highest possible level of activity.
