Dr. Nazione is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), the ​​American Osteopathic Association (AOP) and the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP).​

​​Dr. Nazione serves as Director of Osteopathic Education for the Floyd Family Medicine Residency program.​ He says:
