​While completing medical school in three years, Dr. Land focused on the health care needs of rural and underserved Georgia. He is happy to be practicing medicine in North Georgia, close to where he grew up in Jasper.

Dr. Land has always loved science. As a kid he watched science documentaries for fun. He has carried that passion for learning into his adult life and often does further research on the issues he sees while caring for patients.

He believes that it's important for the entire health care team to work well together to successfully provide patient care. He says that the best part of being a doctor is getting to do new things and meet new people every day. Dr. Land finds it rewarding to manage a variety of different conditions.
