Birth Essentials is an information-packed, three-week, in-person class that offers the basics to prepare you for childbirth.
A certified childbirth educator will provide you and your partner with knowledge about labor and what to expect during your delivery.

The course material is scheduled with due dates in mind. It’s best if mom is at least 28 weeks when the class begins.
Details
This three-week class will be held July 23 and 30 and August 6.
The class fee is $65. Medicaid covers the cost of the class. Some priavte insurance companies offer reimbursement. We encourage you to check your plan benefits for more details.
Participants must register to attend. Participants may bring one support person with them as part of their class registration.
