This in-person, two-hour breastfeeding class is offered before your baby is born. You can ask our certified lactation consultants any questions you may have. They will teach you about breastfeeding basics, what to expect, techniques for latching and more. 

 

You also will learn about common challenges and how to establish breastfeeding goals.

The cost is $15. Medicaid covers this class, and some insurance companies offer reimbursement. We encourage you to check your plan benefits for more details. 

 

Participants must register to attend. Participants may bring one support person with them as part of their class registration.
