Our diabetes education classes are held in-person.​

​ ​Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes

Our full-day and half day classes ​help people learn how to manage Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Class topics include the following:

  • Blood glucose monitoring
  • Diabetes medications
  • Sudden complications
  • Diet management
  • Disease progression
  • Goal setting and behavior changes
  • Physical activity
  • Chronic (ongoing) complications
  • Treatment of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and hyperglycemia (high blood sugar)​

Gestational Diabetes

Women who are pregnant and have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes participate in a series of classes to help them learn how to better manage their nutritional needs and track their blood glucose levels.
