Services Provided at Atrium Health Floyd Rome High School Clinic
Working closely with Atrium Health Floyd school nurses, providers at this school-based primary care clinic will provide care to students, faculty and staff. Immediate care will be provided to those who become ill or have a minor injury while at school.
The clinic will accept appointments for routine check-ups and vaccinations. Parents will be notified before and after care is provided to minors.
The following is a list of services provided at the clinic:
- adult wellness visits
- well-child checkups
- sports physicals
- rapid flu test
- rapid strep test
Common Conditions Treated
The following is a list of common conditions that can be treated at the clinic:
- ear pain/ear infection
- fever
- pink eye
- sore throat
- upper respiratory illness symptoms
- urinary tract infections
- vomiting/diarrhea/gastrointestinal illnesses
How to Schedule
Appointments can be scheduled by calling 706-291-5372. Rome students and parents can also contact the school nurse at their respective schools to set up an appointment. If a student needs to receive vaccines before the start of the next school year, they should call 706-509-3750 during the summer break.
