​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Services Provided at Atrium Health Floyd ​Rome High School Clinic

Working closely with Atrium Health Floyd school nurses, providers at this school-based primary care clinic​​​ will provide care to students, faculty and staff. Immediate care will be provided to those who become ill or have a minor injury while at school. 

The clinic will accept appointments for routine check-ups and vaccinations. Parents will be notified before and after care is provided to minors. 

​The following is a list of services provided at the clinic:​

  • adult wellness visits
  • ​well-child check​ups
  • sports physicals
  • rapid flu test
  • rapid strep test

​​Common Conditions Treated

The following is a list of common conditions that can be treated at the clinic:

  • ​ear pain/ear infection
  • fever
  • pink eye
  • sore throat​
  • upper respiratory illness symptoms
  • urinary tract infections
  • vomiting/diarrhea/gastrointestinal illnesses​​​

​How to Schedule

Appointments can be scheduled by calling 706-291-5372. Rome students and parents can also contact the school nurse at their respective schools to set up an appointment​​. If a student needs to receive vaccines before the start of the next school year, they should call 706-509-​3750​ during the summer ​break.
