​​​​​​Neonatal Ambulance

Donations to Floyd Healthcare Foundation will help provide safe, reliable transportation for sick and premature infants by purchasing a custom-built specially-equipped ambulance for Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) patients.

As the area's only Level III NICU, Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center ​is a destination hospital for infants needing higher level neonatal care.

The new vehicle will have adequate space for the transport and treatment of twins or a baby and mother all in same ambulance. It will also have space to safely include up to four crew members providing specialized care as well as three family members.​​
