Compensation
Residents are paid a progressive salary. In addition, first-year residents receive a $2,000 moving and transition allowance.
- PGY-1: $60,944
- PGY-2: $63,419

Education and Licensing Benefits
Residents have access to a variety of educational and licensing benefits:
- Free Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training
- Book and Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance:
- PGY-1: $1,500
- PGY-2: $1,700
- PGY-3: $2,000
- Paid memberships to the following professional organizations:
- American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)
- Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP)
- American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP)
- American Osteopathic Association (AOA) memberships
- Allowance for Step 3 licensing and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- State temporary postgraduate training permit fee paid yearly
- Paid two-week orientation (includes social activities and ropes course)

Employment Contract
