Language Services
Atrium Health Floyd provides qualified medical interpreters to patients and their authorized representatives:
- whose primary language is not English/have a limited understanding of English
- who are deaf or hard of hearing
Interpreter services are provided free of charge and in a patient’s preferred language. Services provided include the following:
- Language phone line that offers interpreters with over 240 spoken languages
- On-site Spanish medical interpreters during select hours at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center and Atrium Health Floyd Family Medicine Residency Clinic
- Video remote interpreter devices with 44 languages including American Sign Language (ASL) and certified deaf interpreters (CDIs)
