Treatment for Children

Atrium Health Floyd Sleep Medicine performs diagnostic sleep studies on children ages 6 and older. Working with your child's physician, we use data gathered in this sleep study to help us determine how to best help your child sleep well.

Most kids between the ages of 6 - 12 get about 9.5 hours of sleep a night. However, experts with the National Sleep Foundation recommend that children this age need an average of 10 to 11 hours of sleep each night.
