The Atrium Health Floyd Women's Care ​Family Birth Center promotes family bonding​ from the very beginning with baby and parents spending as much time together as possible. We ​invite you to take a tour to see our Family Birth Center.​

From childbirth education and delivery to lactation consulting , we are dedicated to providing expert care, education and safety throughout the entire childbirth process.

We also help you transition to being the parents of a new baby by providing guidance on infant safe sleep as well as classes on postpartum and newborn care, and infant safety. In addition, we provide a private Facebook group for new moms called Moms Circle. 

Our Level III NICU offers advanced care for babies with severe or potentially life-threatening conditions.​​The health care providers at Atrium Health ​Floyd​ have expert training that guarantees the best possible care for premature babies in our region.​​​​

New Mom Support Group​

Having a baby is more than a physical journey – it's a mental health one. In fact, mood disorders are the most common complication women face after childbirth. With our Maternal Mental Health Group, new moms come together to share experiences, offer advice and feel supported in this new phase of life. Join an upcoming session.​

Our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides care for very sick babies, keep them fro​m having to be sent to Atlanta or Chattanooga. For parents, the add​ed bonus of Floyd's NICU means they won't have to be separated from their child before mom is released from the hospital.​​
