The Solo Mom's Childbirth Class is for single moms or women whose partner is not available for birth. This class is not for couples. Moms may bring whoever will be the support person at the birth of the baby.
This class will be held in person on Wednesdays for three weeks -- May 10, May 17 and May 24 -- from 6 – 8 p.m.
The class includes a virtual tour of the Family Birth Center.
This three-week course will help solo moms enter motherhood with confidence.

The course material is scheduled with due dates in mind. It’s best if mom is at least 28 weeks when the class begins.
Details
The cost is $65. Medicaid covers this class, and some insurance companies offer reimbursement. We encourage you to check your plan benefits for more details.
Your registration includes bringing one person with you to class.
