Harbin Clinic Surgeon and Medical Director of Atrium Health Floyd Bariatric Surgery
Dr. Scott is committed to helping patients improve their lives through weight loss and successful, long-term weight management. Specializing in advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery, Dr. Scott leads a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals who are dedicated to the highest standards, patient safety and positive outcomes.
A graduate of Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Dr. Scott completed his surgical residency at Emory. He then completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopy and bariatrics at the University of Virginia where he served as a faculty member and an instructor of surgery.
Dr. Scott has authored a book chapter on weight loss surgery, serves on an international bariatric advisory board for the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and has educated representatives from over 40 countries utilizing telesurgery from Floyd Medical Center.
Dr. Scott is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS) and SAGES.

Dr. Adams received his Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed fellowships in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia; surgical quality and safety at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit; and in innovation at Henry Ford Innovation Institute, also in Detroit.
Dr. Adams completed his residency in general surgery at Henry Ford Hospital. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana.
Dr. Adams is board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
He received an Excellence in Surgical Research Award from the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Adams is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Brock received his Doctor of Medicine from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He completed an Advanced GI MIS (gastrointestinal/minimally invasive surgery)/Bariatric Fellowship with Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Brock completed his residency in general surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He earned a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
Dr. Brock is a member of the Georgia Society of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.
