​Gia Pyles

Assistant Vice President of Surgical Services

Gia Pyles, RN, MSN, CNOR, is Assistant Vice President of Surgical Services at Atrium Health Floyd. 

​A Floyd teammate for 30 years, Pyles has served as Director of Surgical Services since October 2021, overseeing 18 operating suites and five specialty surgery suites for bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, endoscopy and endovascular services. She oversaw the introduction of robotic-assisted surgeries and the expansion of surgical services at Atrium Health Floyd. She has worked in surgical services for almost two decades.

Pyles earned a Master of Science in nursing and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of West Georgia. She also is a Lean Six Sigma process improvement black belt.
