Christmas Back Home Returning to Rome Dec. 11-12

11.17.2020

Big Day Entertainment Group will bring holiday cheer to Rome again this year with its Christmas Back Home musical show scheduled at the Rome City Auditorium on Dec. 11-12. Both shows will be at 7 p.m.

For the fourth consecutive year, Scott Thompson and Brent McDonald have assembled an all-star band of musicians for a new take on timeless holiday masterpieces. The band will also play some original pieces written for the season. Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd will again be the presenting sponsor.

Because of COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, tickets will be limited. Organizers are also strongly encouraging that patrons wear masks. Every other row in the auditorium will remain empty and the auditorium will be cleaned and fogged thoroughly before and after each performance.

“This year more than ever, the cheer and comfort created by Christmas Back Home will be a welcome addition to the holiday season," said Haley Walker, Director of Public Relations at Floyd. “Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd's desire is to bring comfort and compassion to the community during National Hospice Month and to gain additional awareness for our annual Love Light campaign."

The Love Light Tree will be illuminated atop Floyd Medical Center in December and will stay lit through early January. For a donation of as little as $25, you can name a light in honor or memory of a loved one, friend or caregiver who touched your life. Visit floyd.org/lovelight to make a donation through the Floyd Healthcare Foundation.
